Granatski amfiboliti Bistrice
Granatski amfiboliti Bistrice, 2024

Hidrogeohemijska valorizacija esencijalnih mikroelemenata mineralnih voda Srbije
The Fuzzy–AHP Synthesis Model for Energy Security Assessment of the Serbian Natural Gas Sector
Natural gas is used for the production of almost 20% of total energy today. The natural gas security of the Republic of Serbia is an urgent strategic, political and security issue. Serbia is one of the most vulnerable countries in Southeast Europe, because it only has one supply route. This study is a contribution to efforts to better understand the factors affecting energy security through the implementation of a new methodology based on the fuzzy–AHP synthesis model for measuring ...... sufficient quantities [11]. Energy security is a parameter whose specificity lies in the influence of many factors, so it is not possible to define a unique methodology to determine [12]. Defining a methodological approach for determining the energy security of a country is possible only if the geopolitical ...

The influence of Al3+ion on porcine pepsin activity<i>in vitro</i>
The in vitro effect of Al3þ ions in the concentration range 1.7·1026M–8.7·1023M on pepsin activity at pH 2, via kinetic parameters and its electrophoretic mobility was evaluated. Kinetic study demonstrated the existence of an activation effect of Al3þ at pH 2 on pepsin molecule. Kinetic analysis with respect to concentrations of haemoglobin showed that Al3þ ions increase the maximal velocity (Vmax) and kcat values rather than apparent affinity for substrate (KS) implying the non-competitive nature of activation which indicated ...... removal of 44 amino acids, from its amino terminus, to give a single chain enzyme with a low pl and three disulfide bridges. Adsorption and Polymerization of Aniline on Cu(II)-Montmorillonite: Vibrational Spectroscopy and ab Initio Calculation
Batch adsorption experiments in the presence of oxygen were performed to study the interlayer reactions of aniline on Cu(II)-montmorillonite in aqueous solutions. At concentrations below a critical value of CC ) 2.6 mmol dm-3 only a colored Cu(II)-aniline complex is formed, characterized by a stability constant of log(Kassoc/dm3 mol-1) ) 1.5. At concentrations beyond Cc aniline polymerizes yielding a dark brown product, which is identified by two vibrational spectroscopy techniques, attenuated total reflection Fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) spectroscopy and ...M. Malathion-induced inhibition of human plasma cholinesterase studied by the fluorescence spectroscopy method
The in vitro effect of technical grade malathion was assessed via the kinetic parameters of human plasma butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) using N-methylindoxyl acetate as a substrate for BChE. An inhibitor kinetics study demonstrated the existence of a biphasic inhibition curve, indicating high- and low-affinity binding sites of malathion. The IC50 values as calculated from the experimental inhibition curves were 1.33 × 10–9 and 1.48 × 10–5 M for the high- and low-affinity binding sites, respectively; Hill’s analysis gave 1.29 × ...V. Interaction of sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS) with homoionic montmorillonites: adsorption isotherms and metal-ion release
The interaction of dodecylsulfate anions (DS−) with homoionic Ca-, Mg-, Ni-, Cu-, Cd-, Pb- and Fe-montmorillonites were investigated. Mg- and Cd-montmorillonite do not adsorb DS−, and an anion exchange at the edges of the clay mineral does not take place. Three different adsorption processes are identified on the other montmorillonites: i) Fe-montmorillonite is covered with amorphous iron hydroxide, and DS−-anions are bound at positively charged sites. ii) On Ca- and Pb-montmorillonite DS− is precipitated as Me(DS)2. iii) On Ni- ...M.
