The lost freshwater goby fish fauna (Teleostei, Gobiidae) from the early Miocene of Klinci (Serbia)
Freshwater gobies played an important role in the Miocene paleolakes of central and southeastern Europe. Much data have been gathered from isolated otoliths, but articulated skeletons are relatively rare. Here, we review a rich assemblage of articulated gobies with abundant otoliths in situ from the late early Miocene lake deposits of Klinci in the Valjevo freshwater lake of the Valjevo-Mionica Basin of Serbia. The fauna was originally described by Anđelković in 1978, who noted many different fishes, including one ...Katarina Bradić-Milinović, Harald Ahnelt, Ljupko Rundić, Werner Schwarzhans. Primary crusher site selection in open pit mines - case study in Sungun copper mine
Facility site selection, (such as Primary or in pit Crusher location) is one of the most important steps in mine de-sign process that has a significant impact on economy of the mining operation. This study covers an attempt to find the optimal location forprimary crusher in order to support the expansion of Sungun copper mine, which is the second largest open pit mine in Iran. Recent exploration drilling has led to a considerable increase in the ore reserve. Therefore, ...Ali Nasirinezhad, Dejan Stevanović, Dragan Ignjatović, Mehdi Rahmanpou. Correlation Between Dynamic CBR and Compaction and Bearing Capacity of Pavement Foundation Layers
This paper presents a dynamic California Bearing Ratio (CBRd) device that can be used on a prepared pavement foundation layer to obtain a certain parameter of the tested material in the laboratory and in situ in a direct and fast way. For the selected natural material (gravel), it is shown that the laboratory CBRd can be used to estimate the compaction and bearing capacity, because it correlates well with the parameters of the standard and modifed Proctor compaction tests. ...korelacija parametara, donji slojevi saobraćajnica, laboratorijska i terenska ispitivanja, dinamički kalifornijski indeks nosivosti CBRd... Hybrid Model for Optimisation of Waste Dump Design and Site Selection in Open Pit Mining
Aleksandar Doderovic, Svetozar-Milan Doderovic, Sasa Stepanovic, Mirjana Bankovic, Dejan Stevanovic (2023)Waste management is an unavoidable technological operation in the process of raw material extraction. The main characteristic of this technological operation is the handling of large quantities of waste material, which can amount to several hundred million cubic metres. At the same time, this operation must comply with all administrative and environmental standards. Therefore, optimising waste rock management (particularly haulage and dumping) has the potential to significantly improve the overall value of the project. This paper presents a hybrid ...Aleksandar Doderovic, Svetozar-Milan Doderovic, Sasa Stepanovic, Mirjana Bankovic, Dejan Stevanovic. The Importance of Geotechnical Investigations for the Construction of Transfer Station „Prelići“ on Landfill in Cacak – Serbia
For the purpose of the facilities construction within the transfer station „Prelici“ in Cacak, specific geotechnical investigations were carried out based on which the technological project with the facilities schedule was developed. Significant deviations in relation to the presented results were determined during earthworks, so the additional geotechnical investigation works were carried out. Since the new investigation works have determined a different cross section of the terrain, it was proposed to move the planned facilities which led to the ...... rupture occurring in the body due to uneven decomposition of certain components of waste. Its thickness is uneven. Blasting mats for the protection of people, structures and the environment in proximity to the blast site
Improving efficiency of thermal power plants through mine coal quality planning and control
