U Srbiji je počela izgradnja autoputa E-80 koji će predstavljati saobraćajno čvorište zapadnog Balkana i biće deo glavne regionalne transportne mreže jugoistočne Evrope. Njegova ukupna dužina kroz Srbiju iznosi 77 km, a prva deonica u dužini od 5.5 km je završena i puštena u saobraćaj krajem jula 2023. god. To je prva od četiri deonice Sektora 1 čija je dužina 32.65 km. Stratigraphic implications of the Mio-Pliocene geodynamics in the area of Mt. Avala: new evidence from Torlak Hill and Beli Potok (Belgrade, Serbia)
Mt. Avala is located on the southern margin of the Pannonian basin (SPB), a border zone between the uplifted morphostructures of the Dinarides and Carpathian-Balkanides. Similar to the Pannonian basin, tectonostratigraphic evolution of the Mt. Avala area during the last 23 Ma has is characterized by syn- and post-rifting processes as well as tectonic inversion. Petrološke karakteristike dunavskog šljunka (Beograd – Zemun)
Miloš Mihajlović (2024)Dunavski šljunak u okolini Zemuna karakterističan je za obalne rečne naslage formirane dugotrajnim procesima erozije i transporta materijala koje reka Dunav nosi sa različitih područja uzvodno. Ispitivanja šljunka sa lokacije „Gemax” su pokazala je šljunak uglavnom zaobljen, najčešće u rasponu od nekoliko milimetara do nekoliko centimetara u prečniku. Kako Dunav nosi materijal sa velikog sliva, ovaj šljunak sadrži raznovrsne sastojke sa dominacijom kvarca i odlomaka stena visokosilicijskog sastava.
