Savremene tendencije upravljanja mineralnim resursima u svetu i stanje u Republici Srbiji
Using English Baits to Catch Serbian Multi-Word Terminology
In this paper we present the first results in bilingual terminology extraction. The hypothesis of our approach is that if for a source language domain terminology exists as well as a domain aligned corpus for a source and a target language, then it is possible to extract the terminology for a target language. Our approach relies on several resources and tools: aligned domain texts, domain terminology for a source language, a terminology extractor for a target language, and a ...aligned texts, word alignment, terminology extraction, electronic dictionaries, morphological inflectionCvetana Krstev, Branislava Šandrih, Ranka Stanković. Synergy between the mineral deposit exploration and geothermal resources assessment on the example of "Valjevo" boron and lithium deposit in Serbia
Nebojša Atanacković, Vladimir Živanović, Ana Vranješ, Sava Magazinović, Marinko Toljić, Ana Arifović, Branislav Potić (2023)Exploration of mineral deposits involves a collection of vast data sets on geological characteristics of the area. These data can largely contribute to the assessment of the geothermal potential, which can lead to an increase in the share of geothermal resources in the energy mix of the extractive industry and the local community. On the example of the "Valjevo" B-Li deposit, data on structural settings and previous hydrogeological investigations were combined with the results of resource drilling and geophysical ...Nebojša Atanacković, Vladimir Živanović, Ana Vranješ, Sava Magazinović, Marinko Toljić, Ana Arifović, Branislav Potić. Climate change and their imapct on karst groundwater
Milan Đelić, Vesna Ristić Vakanjac (2021)In the last 30 years, there have been progressively more dry and rainy years, a reduced presence or even absence of snow cover, an increase in air temperature, large-scale fires, intensified glacier melting, and the like. Climate change certainly has an effect on all areas of economic activity, but its largest impact is on water resources and existing ecosystems. One of the most important water resources is groundwater, on account of which more than 70% of the population of ...Milan Đelić, Vesna Ristić Vakanjac . Groundwater as an important resources in emergency situations of the Republic of Serbia
Boris Vakanjac, Radoje Banković, Vesna Ristić-Vakanjac, Saša Milanović, Ljiljana Vasić, Saša Bakrač, Nikola Kozić (2024)Groundwater is a renewable resource wholly or partially protected from external influences (pollutants) by nature. Currently, about 75% of the population of the Republic of Serbia meets its water needs by using underground water. Hence, this water represents an essential strategic resource of our country; according to data from the Water Management Foundation of the Republic of Serbia (VOS, 2001), water from existing sources is used in quantities of about 23 m3/s. As 67.13 m3/s is the estimated potential ...Boris Vakanjac, Radoje Banković, Vesna Ristić-Vakanjac, Saša Milanović, Ljiljana Vasić, Saša Bakrač, Nikola Kozić. Prognozna ocena resursa kaolinitskih glina u sedimentnim basenima Srbije
Vladimir M. Simić (2003)Kaolinitske gline predstavljaju jednu od privredno najznačajnijih nemetaličnih mineralnih sirovina u Srbiji. Ležišta tih glina odavno se istražuju i eksploatišu u Aranđelovačkom i Kolubarskom basenu i basenima vlašićkog antiklinorijuma. Osim toga, u većem ili manjem obimu istražene su mnoge lokalnosti, a na nekima od njih vršila se povremena eksploatacija. Dosadašnja istraživanja kaolinitskih glina imala su, međutim, prevashodno uzak istraživački cilj - utvrđivanje rezervi glina određenog ležišta, dok su istraživanja regionalnog karaktera bila malog obima i vezana za delove pojedinih ...prognozna ocena, resursi kaolinitskih glina, sedimentni baseni, Srbija, geologija, mineralogija, kvalitet, potencijalnostVladimir M. Application of the principle of circular economy to the thermal groundwater, the example of the municipality of Bogatić
There are about 360 locations of thermal and thermo-mineral waters in Serbia, whose water temperatures range from 14 to 98°C, which ranks Serbia as the richest European country in geothermal energy. The mentioned water resources (thermal and thermomineral waters) are used, mostly, for therapeutic purposes in spas and sports and recreational centers. The main problem that is present is the fact that they are not used in a rational and efficient way. The paper will give examples territorially related ...Marija Jovanović, Vesna Ristić Vakanjac.
Automatic construction of a morphological dictionary of multi-word units
The development of a comprehensive morphological dictionary of multi-word units for Serbian is a very demanding task, due to the complexity of Serbian morphology. Manual production of such a dictionary proved to be extremely time-consuming. In this paper we present a procedure that automatically produces dictionary lemmas for a given list of multi-word units. To accomplish this task the procedure relies on data in e-dictionaries of Serbian simple words, which are already well developed. Frequency and Length of Syllables in Serbian
Marija Radojičić, Biljana Lazić, Sebastijan Kaplar, Ranka Stanković, Ivan Obradović, Ján Mačutek, Lívia Leššová (2019)Basic analyses of several properties of syllables (the rank-frequency distribution, the distribution of length, and the relation between length and frequency) in Serbian is presented. The syllabification algorithm used combines the maximum onset principle and the sonority hierarchy. Results indicate that syllables behave similarly to words as far as mathematical models are concerned, but values of parameters in models for syllables are quite different from those for words.Marija Radojičić, Biljana Lazić, Sebastijan Kaplar, Ranka Stanković, Ivan Obradović, Ján Mačutek, Lívia Leššová.
