Investigating distant effects of the Moesian promontory: Brittle tectonics along the western boundary of the Getic unit (East Serbia)
In this study, we report evidence for brittle deformation in a part of the Carpatho–Balkan orogen, which is explained in terms of effects of the rigid Moesian promontory of the European plate on fault kinematics in East Serbia. Anisotropic grossular–andradite garnets: Evidence of two stage skarn evolution from Rudnik, Central Serbia
This paper presents LA-ICP-MS data for garnets from the Rudnik skarn deposit (Serbia), which range from Grs45–58Adr40–52Alm2–3 in the core and Adr70–97Grs2–29Sps1 in the rim displaying anisotropy and zoning. In spite of wide compositional variations the garnets near the end-member of andradite (Adr > 90) are generally isotropic. Fe-rich rims exhibit LREE depletion and flat HREE pattern with weak negative Eu anomaly, including higher As and W contents. Punctuated, episodic magmatism and mineralization of the Rogozna skarn-hosted Au-Zn-Pb-Cu deposits revealed through high-precision U-Pb zircon geochronology
The subvolcanic regions of magmatic centers are commonly associated with alteration, mineralization, and economic ore deposits, however the duration and frequency of mineralizing pulses within the overall lifespan of these centers can be poorly defined. Therefore, models for the formation of mineral systems require more highprecision geochronology data to refine their evolutionary models. Snežana M. Ignjatović (2014-06-30)Timočki magmatski kompleks (TMK) u geotektonskom smislu pripada KarpatoBalkanidimaistočne Srbije, koji su deo Tekijsko-Dakijske jedinice. TMK je nastaotokom kontinuirane vulkanske aktivnosti, koja je trajala oko deset miliona godina iodvijala se generalno u tri faze (Zimmerman et al., 2008, Kolb et al., 2013, Banješević,2006). Badenske školjke jugoistočnog oboda Panonskkog basena (Centralni Paratetis)
Gordana M. Jovanović (2014-12-05)Rad obuhvata detaljnu studiju badenskih školjaka koje potiču sa terenajugoistočnog oboda Panonskog basena (Centralni Paratetis). Proučavani su lokaliteti naprostorima Srbije (Fruška gora, Golubac, okolina Beograda, Aranđelovca, Koceljeva,Loznica) i severoistočne Bosne (Ugljevik). Pored taksonomske analize i paleontološkihopisa bivalvija, u radu je dat i spisak revidovanih vrsta koje su do sada pronađene usedimentima badenskog kata istraživanog terena. Do sada je ukupno poznato 41familija, 108 rodova i 174 taksona.
