    Beogradska tvrđava, spomenik kulture od izuzetnog značaja za Republiku Srbiju, izgrađena je od krečnjaka badenske starosti. Njihova litološka heterogenost, u sadejstvu sa uticajima okruženja, rezultira visokim intenzitetima raspadanja. Korelacijom intrinzičnih sa ekstrinzičnim faktorima, definisani su fizičko-hemijski procesi raspadanja ugrađenih mikrofacija krečnjaka.
