Three new Sr-bearing arsenates, hydrothermally synthesized in the system SrO–MO–As2O5–H2O (M2+ = Mg, Cu, Zn)
Tamara Đorđević, Ljiljana Karanović (2018)During systematic research on the mineral-related synthetic arsenates, with particular focus on their structural and spectroscopic classification, three new Sr-containing arsenates Sr2Mg(AsO4)2· 2H2O (1), Sr2Zn4(AsO4)4·H2O (2) and Sr2Cu7(AsO4)6 (3) have been synthesized under low-temperature hydrothermal conditions in the system SrO MO As2O5 H2O (M 2þ = Mg, Zn, Cu). Their crystal structures were determined using room-temperature single-crystal X-ray diffraction data and refined to the following R-values: 1– R1 = 0.025; 2– R1 = 0.030; 3– R1 = 0.035. Negative Impact of Backwater Levels of Danube River and its Tributaries to the Groundwater Regime in Meliorated Riverside Areas
This paper describes updated calculation methodology of Danube backwater impact, occurred as a consequence of “Đerdap I” hydropower plant operation, onto the meliorated riverside areas. This methodology is based on hydrodynamic analysis of groundwater regime (size, duration, level and inflow changes) and quantification of melioration areas impairment which is caused by “Đerdap I” hydropower plant operation. By comparing the groundwater regime elements, obtained by variant hydrodynamic calculation in mathematical models for natural – not backed up and actual – ...HPP ''Djerdap 1'', backwater influence, groundwater regime, hydrodynamic analysis, melioration area, drainage system, additional energy engagementPredrag Pajić, Uroš Urošević, Dušan Polomčić, Milan Dimkić. Effects of bentonite binder dosage on the properties of green limestone pellets
Vladimir Jovanović, Dinko Knežević, Živko Sekulić, Milan Kragović, Jovica Stojanović, Slavica Mihajlović, Dragana Nišić, Dragan Radulović, Branislav Ivošević, Milan Petrov (2016)This paper presents the results of tests carried out to determine how the dosage of bentonite added as binder, affects the properties of green pellets made of the limestone fines that originate from Lithothamnium limestone processing. Bentonite was added to limestone in different mass fractions (1, 2.5, 5 and 10%), whereas all the other parameters of the pelletizing process remained constant. The aim of pelletizing was to consolidate limestone fines and form mechanically stable pellets, provided that all the ...Vladimir Jovanović, Dinko Knežević, Živko Sekulić, Milan Kragović, Jovica Stojanović, Slavica Mihajlović, Dragana Nišić, Dragan Radulović, Branislav Ivošević, Milan Petrov. The Late Devonian contraction along the Precaspian Basin north margin: Transpressional range building in the intracratonic domain
Novak Novčić, Marinko Toljić (2023)The evolution of intraplate sedimentary basins located in the vicinity of an active convergent plate boundary is often controlled by the collisional dynamics of the adjacent orogen. The transfer of compression from the orogen to the platform's interior results in the formation of complex structural geometry and kinematics that often reactivate older crustal faults, focus far-field stresses and control the evolution of associated sedimentary basins. One place where this localisation can be optimally understood is the Precaspian Basin, situated ...Intrakratonske deformacije, transpresija, kosa kompresija, krustalni rasedi, intrakratonski transfer stresa, kontrakcioni blokoviNovak Novčić, Marinko Toljić.
