Risk Evaluation: Brief Review and Innovation Model Based on Fuzzy Logic and MCDM
Stevan Djenadic, Milos Tanasijevic, Predrag Jovancic, Dragan Ignjatovic, Dejan Petrovic, Ugljesa Bugaric (2022)The risk assessment of engineering systems represents an important part of the quality of service and dependability. The existing methods for risk evaluation use crisp sets for rating partial indicators’ proposition and their cumulative products as an overall indicator. In this paper, existing FMEA and FMECA methods have been improved using the fuzzy expert system for calculating the risk priority number. The application of fuzzy logic allows the use of linguistic descriptions for risk analysis. In this way, the ...Stevan Djenadic, Milos Tanasijevic, Predrag Jovancic, Dragan Ignjatovic, Dejan Petrovic, Ugljesa Bugaric. The Effect of Gravel and Sand Mining on Groundwater and Surface Water Regimes — A Case Study of the Velika Morava River, Serbia
Phase and microstructural study of urinary stones
In this paper we present the phase and morphological characteristics of urinary stones from Serbian patients. The study included for the first time the determination of the phase composition and a statistical analysis of the presence of different types of urinary stones in both men and women in Serbia. The main goal of study was representation of collected data for the first time. For past three years, more than 600 samples were collected from Serbian patients. The phase composition ...
Development and evaluation of fracture gradient curve model: a case study of south-central Kazakhstan
An accurate fracture gradient value is one of the most important issues in oil and gas well design and drilling. The value of a fracture gradient is a critical parameter for determining the drilling mud weight and selecting the proper depths for setting the casing in the planning process of drilling operations. This paper proposed the new curve model of fracture gradient for the south-central Kazakhstan (central Asia) region based on the analysis of leak-off test and format integrity ...Branimir Stanisavljevic, Vesna Karovic Maricic, Irena Isakov. Complex geophysical survey on solving the problem of water loss in the karst terrain reservoir
Branislav Sretković, Dejan Vučković (2023)Geophysical surveys in karst terrain are always a specific challenge. Each of them requires a careful consideration of the problem, specific conditions on the ground, the selection of adequate methods applicable in that specific and unique karst area. But they should have one thing in common: a complex approach and looking at the problem from wider to narrower, with a gradual narrowing of the investigation area, increasing the spatial precision and resolution of the obtained data. On the example of ...Branislav Sretković, Dejan Vučković. Crystallographic, spectroscopic, thermal and computational studies of polymeric cobalt(II)–mellitate complex with 2,2′-bipyridine
Orange single crystals of new polymeric cobalt(II) complex {[Co(bipy)(H2O)4]2[Co(μ-mell)(H2O)2]·10H2O}n, 1, were synthesized by slow evaporation method at room temperature (bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine, mell = hexaanion of mellitic acid) and its crystal structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The complex 1 was characterized based on elemental analysis, FTIR spectroscopy and thermal (TG/DTA) analysis followed by computational analysis of noncovalent interactions and quantum chemical calculations of interaction energies. In 1, two crystallographically different Co(II) atoms adopt a deformed octahedral geometry, ...Lidija Radovanović, Dušan P. Malenov, Marko V. Rodić, Aleksandar Kremenović, Jelena Rogan. Highway construction in fossil landslides zones – Lessons learned from the Grdelica Gorge, Serbia
Landslides are common on roads, which directly affect the flow of traffic and the connection and functioning of the population in surrounding area. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate them in the shortest possible time and to determine and carry out the remediation solution. Functionality of the state roads is immensely important so it is necessary to ensure that the traffic is maintained during remediation activities. Therefore, design solutions and remediation execution technology should be adapted to these requirements. ...Biljana Abolmasov, Marinos Skempas, Svetozar Milenković, Janko Radovanović, Miloš Marjanović. Using gravity data to define structural correlation affecting the formation of Neogene basins
A gravity survey can help to define the structural correlation in the study area. The structures that have influenced the development of Neogene basins can be defined using gravity data. By applying mathematical transformations to gravity data, the geological structures (faults, nappes, etc.) that impacted the formation of Neogene basins can be defined. We have taken the part of the Dinarides as the test region. The paper presents the results obtained using the procedure residual, vertical gradient, and total ...Snežana Ignjatović, Ivana Vasiljević, Branisav Sretković, Milanka Negovanović. Regional rockfall exposure assessment, experience from Serbia
Rockfalls are common in hilly and mountainous areas, especially along roads with engineered slopes and cuts. Such is the case for most of the state and local road routes in Central, Serbia, which was the subject in this case study.
