A Lexical Approach to Acronyms and their Definitions
In this paper we present a comprehensive approach to acronyms for Natural-Language Processing (NLP) of Serbian texts. The proposed procedure includes extraction of acronyms and their definitions that are usual Multi-Word Units (MWUs), shallow parsing of MWUs that enables MWU lemmatization and production of entries in morphological electronic dictionaries, both for MWU and acronyms, that are provided with grammatical, syntactic, semantic and domain information. This approach enables representation that reflects complex relations between acronyms and their definitions.... texts (57% daily, 8% weekly and 5% monthly newspapers) and 6% of monographs and textbooks (Krstev and Vitas, 2005), which are types of texts that tend to use acronyms and pro- vide definitions. Besides that we used two more samples of newspaper texts (having 600 thousand and 1.200 thousand simple word ...

Flyrock induced by blasting in surface mining
Milanka Negovanović, Lazar Kričak, Snežana Ignjatović, Stefan Milanović, Jovan Marković, Nikola Simić, Rade Šarac (2022)Miniranje predstavlja i dalje najefikasniji i najjeftiniji način eksploatacije velikih količina čvrstih mineralnih sirovina na površinskim kopovima. Novel cerium and praseodymium doped phosphate tungsten bronzes: Synthesis, characterization, the behavior in the Briggs-Rauscher reaction and photoluminescence properties
Tijana Maksimović, Pavle Tančić, Jelena Maksimović, Dimitrije Mara, Marija Ilić, Rik Van Deun, Ljubinka Joksović, Maja Pagnacco (2023)Due to the interesting and potentially useful properties, phosphate tungsten bronzes are constantly being studied and attract a lot of attention. In the present work, two different metallic elements, belonging to the group of rare-earth metals, cerium and praseodymium, were used as a dopants for phosphate tungsten bronzes. Novel cerium and praseodymium doped phosphate tungsten bronzes were successfully synthesized and further characterized by thermal analyses, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction, scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometer and ...Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Atomic and Molecular Physics and Optics, Electronic, Optical and Magnetic Materials, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical and Theoretical Chemistry, SpectroscopyTijana Maksimović, Pavle Tančić, Jelena Maksimović, Dimitrije Mara, Marija Ilić, Rik Van Deun, Ljubinka Joksović, Maja Pagnacco. A hundred years of Milutin Milanković's climate change theory - geological implications
A Fuzzy Expert Model for Availability Evaluation
Each technical system within itself carries the great potential danger of possible occurrence of failure and damages. Mining machines are characteristic by great investment values, costs of unplanned shutdowns, complex working conditions, and environment and workers hazards. Control of substructure construction of railways in the Republic of Serbia
