The State and Perspective of Belgrade District Heating System Development
Dejan Ivezić, Marija Živković, Aleksandar Madžarević, Fethi Silajdžić, Samra Arnaut, Goran Đelić (2019)District heating (DH) system in Belgrade provides energy for heating of more than 21 million m2 in households (app. 50% of all households), public, commercial and industry sectors. Public Utility Company “Beogradske elektrane” is responsible for all segments of the DH system operation. The system is fueled mostly by natural gas. The share of renewables is negligible. The research analyzes effects of implementation of two main projects proposed in the Development Strategy of the PUC - the introduction of ...... Mining and Geology, Head of the Center for Energy. Production of electricity from coal-fired power plants and accompanying CO2 emissions: comparison of EU-27 and US
Even in the third decade of the 21st century, large power plants are still responsible for more than half of the electricity production in Europe and US. They predominantly use fossil fuels in their work, which results in the emission of pollutants into the air, soil and water. In addition to the production of electric energy, fossil fuels, including coal, are used for industrial purposes. Although the use of coal, especially in the countries of the European Union, is ...... industrial plants in the EU-27 countries are emitters of various pollutants from fossil fuels. In order to mitigate the impact on the environment, EU policy aims to reduce emissions from such plants, which gives results already in the first years of the change in the use of energy [1, 2, 4]|. It is ...
... system until the end of this decade. It is noticeable that, driven by the challenges of the pandemic and conflict in Eastern Europe, the strong policy of reducing the use of coal in Europe and slightly less intensive politics of reduction in US have become frozen only at the moment.
Assessments of effects of implementation of strategic plans for development of Belgrade District heating system
The district heating system (DHS) is one of the key elements of the Belgrade energy system. Overview of the current state and basic characteristics of the DHS are presented in this paper. The focus is on the planned development of DHS and on the analyses of effects of realization of measures and projects defined by strategic documents related to DHS which are adopted by city authorities (Development Strategy of DHS and Strategy of Belgrade Development). Two exploratory scenarios were ...Dejan Ivezić, Marija Živković, Aleksandar Madžarević, Miodrag Grujić. Strategic Environmental Assessment in the Application of Preventive Protection for Wind Farm Noise—Case Study: Maestrale Ring Wind Farm
Determining the spatial position of wind turbines is the initial and most important phase in the development of a wind farm project. In this sensitive phase, all potential problems that may arise in the later stages of project development should be prevented by means of spatial and urban planning instruments. This makes it possible to achieve maximum use of the potential of wind in a particular space and, thus, fulfil the technical and economic requirements of the project while ...Energija,energetski inženjering i elektroenergetska tehnologija, obnovljivi izvori energije, održivost i životna sredina, električni i elektronski inženjering, kontrola i optimizacija,inženjering...
