Manganese-pyromellitate complex as a precursor for preparation of spinel Mn3O4
Lidija Radovanović, Željko Radovanović, Aleksandar Kremenović, Bojana Simović, Milica V. Vasić, Jelena Rogan (2022)In recent years, thermal decomposition studies of transition metal complexes with benzenepolycarboxylate ligands have become an area of a great importance due to the possibility of obtaining useful metal oxides with desirable electrical, magnetic and catalytic properties [1]. As a contrast to conventional methods for the preparation of metal oxides, such as hydrothermal or sol–gel treatment, thermolysis is faster, more efficient ...Lidija Radovanović, Željko Radovanović, Aleksandar Kremenović, Bojana Simović, Milica V. Differently shaped nanocrystalline (Fe, Y)3O4 and its adsorption efficiency toward inorganic arsenic species

The series of Fe3−xYxO4 (x=0.00, 0.042 and 0.084, labeled as Y00, Y05 and Y10, respectively) was synthesized using co-precipitation followed by microwave-hydrothermal treatment (MW) at 200°C. With increase of yttrium content(xvalue), both the morphological inhomogeneity of the samples and the fraction of spinel nanorods as compared to spinel pseudospherical particles increased. Overcoming the Low Oral Bioavailability of Deuterated Pyrazoloquinolinone Ligand DK-I-60-3 by Nanonization: A Knowledge-Based Approach
Jelena R. Mitrović , Branka Divović-Matović, Daniel E. Knutson, Jelena B. Ðoković, Aleksandar Kremenović, Vladimir D. Dobričić, Danijela V. Randjelović, Ivana Pantelić, James M. Cook, Miroslav M. Savić, Snežana D. Savić (2021)Poor water solubility of new chemical entities is considered as one of the main obstacles in drug development, as it usually leads to low bioavailability after administration. To overcome these problems, the selection of the appropriate formulation technology needs to be based on the physicochemical properties of the drug and introduced in the early stages of drug research. One example of the new potential drug substance with poor solubility is DK-I-60-3, deuterated pyrazoloquinolinone, designed for the treatment of various neuropsychiatric ...... ultra-purified water (1:100, v/v). Zeta Potential Measurements The zeta potential (ZP) of obtained nanocrystal dispersions was determined by Zeta- sizer Nano ZS90 (Malvern Instruments Ltd., Worcestershire, U.K.) after dilution in ultrapure water (conductivity 50 µS/cm) 1:100 (v/v). Atomic Force Microscopy ...
... the SLS:PVP ratio was varied: 1:10, 1:4, 1:2 or 1:1 (Table 1). Ob- tained dispersion was then transferred to 2 mL tubes containing 20%, 40%, or 60% v/v 0.1–0.2 mm yttrium stabilized zirconium beads (SiLibeads® Typ ZY-S, Sigmund Lindner GmbH, Warmensteinach, Germany) and shaken for 0.5 h or 1 h using ...
... Atomic Force Microscope (NT-MDT, Moscow, Russia). The sample preparation included dilution of the dispersion F5, F6, or F8 in ultra-purified water (1:100 v/v), after which the 10 µL of the sample was placed on the circular mica substrate (Highest Grade V1 AFM Mica Discs, Ted Pella Inc., Redding, CA, USA) and ...Jelena R. Divac (2023)In this article, the biological evaluation and interaction of three selenium-based trans-palladium complexes (Pd–Se1, Pd–Se2, and Pd–Se3) with small biomolecules were performed. The UV–Vis kinetic studies on substitution reaction of synthesized complexes with selected biologically important N- and S-bonding ligands (LCys, GSH, L-Met, 50-GMP, L-His) has emphasized greater affinity of sulphur-based ligands for complex-binding, while the general order of the reactivity was L-Cys > GSH > L-Met > 50-GMP > L-His. The complex reactivity toward small biomolecules is influenced ...I. Raković, D. Ćoćić, O. Milošević-Djordjević, I. Radojević, M. N. Živanović, K. Virijević, J. Pavić, J. Tubić Vukajlović, A.
