Specific electrical conductivity in epikarst groundwater of the eastern Suva Planina mt.
Branislav Petrović (2022)The epikarst is a part of the karst outcrop that is located within the unsaturated zone and represents a complex point of contact and mixing of unconsolidated material from the terrain surface. The correct and complete perception of epikarst, its degree of development and the presence on the limestone terrain can be achieved with a multidisciplinary approach. The study area for the applied multidisciplinary research was the Eastern part of karst massif Suva Planina Mt. One important part of ...Branislav Petrović. How active is recent tectonics in the central Balkans: Evidence from the Serbian Carpatho-Balkanides
Ana Mladenović (2022)Since the Late Cretaceous, after closure of the Neotethys ocean, tectonic processes in the central Balkan Peninsula were mainly controlled by the mutual interaction of the Adriatic and the Eurasian plates, and tectonic units in-between. Most of the tectonic structures that have been active during Cenozoic times were inherited from previous tectonic stages under different tectonic regimes. Tectonic activity within the Carpatho-Balkan orogen in eastern Serbia since Miocene is conditioned by the existence of the rigid Moesian promontory east ...Ana Mladenović. Double traveling valve increases rod-pump efficiency
Traditional sucker rod pumps (SRP) use a single traveling valve, but recent double traveling valve innovations have improved SRP performance and efficiency in field applications with double traveling valves installed in pumps with top mechanical seating. The valves sealed better and produced similar fluid volumes compared with the previous single-valve pumps. They also enabled a reduction in pump diameter and optimized usage of surface equipment. Overall, the double travel valve SRPs produced stable production rates and annual production targets.Miloš Petrović, Bojan Martinović, Milica Ješić, Miroslav Crnogorac. The interaction of organoselenium trans-palladium(II) complexes toward small-biomolecules and CT-DNA
Serija organoselenijum trans-paladijum(II) kompleksa 1 (bis(2-(fenilselanilmetil)oksolan)dihloropaladijum(II)), 2 (bis(2-(fenilselanilmetil)oksan)dihloropaladijum(II)) i 3 (bis(2) ,2-dimetil-3-(fenilselanil)oksan)dihloropaladijum(II)) su korišćeni za ispitivanje reaktivnosti ovog specifičnog tipa kompleksa prema različitim bio-molekulima. Sepiolite – a by-product of exploitation as a potential raw material in Serbian industry
This paper gives a brief overview of the sepiolite deposits, the basic properties, and the possibilities of using this mineral. Particular attention is paid to sepiolites from domestic production, especially the use of sepiolites suitable for the development of small businesses and technologies, with a focus on environmental protection. Aim of this paper is to point out importance of this mineral and to draw attention to the use of domestic raw materials. With appropriate mechanical and chemical pretreatments, sepiolite is ...Radmila Gaćina, Katarina Urošević, Jelena Zakonović. To what extent reactivated faults are (not) responsible for karst process: example from Serbian Carpatho-Balkanides?
Ana Mladenović, Jelena Ćalić (2023)Carpatho-Balkanides represent part of the complex Dinaric – Carpatho – Balkan orogenic system, that geomorphologically dominates the central part of the Balkan Peninsula. The existence of this orogenic system is a result of closure of the Neotethys ocean and subsequent convergence of the Adriatic microplate and the Eurasian continent, that has been still active in the recent times. Such geodynamic characteristics conditioned complex tectonic structures, multiply reactivated during Late Cretaceous and Cenozoic times. The main aim of this work ...Ana Mladenović, Jelena Ćalić. The use of biological markers in determination of origin and type of organic matter in the Tisza river sediments
Snežana Štrbac, Gordana Gajica, Aleksandra Šajnović, Nebojša Vasić, Ksenija Stojanović, Branimir Jovančićević (2013)The objective of the study was to determine the origin and type of organic matter (OM) of the Tisza recent sediments along the distance of 153 km through the territory of Serbia. For this purpose group organic-geochemical parameters and biomarker compositions were used. All samples contain approximately same amount of OM, which was deposited under uniform, slightly reducing conditions. Based on the distribution of n-alkanes, the origin and type of OM could not be precisely estimated. However, n-alkane patterns ...... data12 and based on the total mass spectra (library: NIST5a). The biomarker parameters were calculated from the GC–MS chromato- gram peak areas (software GCMS Data Analysis). RESULTS AND DISCUSSION Group organic–geochemical parameters The amount of the total organic carbon (Corg) and soluble ...

On the compatibility of lexical resources for NooJ
Lexical resources for many languages are provided for the NooJ linguistic development environment. Meta-data descriptions of morphosyntactic and semantic properties of these languages and their resources are a mandatory part of each language module. In this paper we analyze how well the meta-data actually describe resources for a chosen subset of languages and to what extent are they compatible across languages to support multilingual processing. We show that there is place for improvement in both directions.... compatibility and standardization. The paper ends with concluding remarks.
