The Fuzzy–AHP Synthesis Model for Energy Security Assessment of the Serbian Natural Gas Sector
Natural gas is used for the production of almost 20% of total energy today. The natural gas security of the Republic of Serbia is an urgent strategic, political and security issue. Serbia is one of the most vulnerable countries in Southeast Europe, because it only has one supply route. This study is a contribution to efforts to better understand the factors affecting energy security through the implementation of a new methodology based on the fuzzy–AHP synthesis model for measuring ...... assessment of climate change, air pollution, and energy security policy.
6. Utilizing sewage wastewater heat in district heating systems in Serbia: effects on sustainability
Marija Živković, Dejan Ivezić (2021)Transformation of the heating sector is recognized as being essential for ensuring reliable and afordable energy services provided with reduced consumption of energy sources and diminished impact on the environment and less import dependency. Long-term planning methodology for improving wood biomass utilization
The insufficiently developed forest management system is often followed by undeveloped forest resources supply chain and insufficient institutional support. These cause inefficient usage of fuel-wood as well as huge amounts of unused forest residues. In order to achieve optimal and long-term sustainable utilisation of biomass, an original methodology based on the interaction of mathematical optimization and backcasting approach has been developed. Mathematical optimization is used for both generation and consideration of techno-economic parameters of the forest biomass supply chain. ...Vladimir Vukašinović, Dušan Gordić, Marija Živković, Davor Koncalović, Dubravka Živković. The impact of calculation of resources and reserves on mining activity in Serbia
The appearance of interest of the world's most important mining companies i for investment in Serbia imposes the problem of harmonization of domestic legislation with foreign ones. In this paper, specific categorization and classification of mineral raw materials, which do not match in domestic and foreign practice, are treated. The existence of such a conflict of criteria in use for categorization and classification can lead to misunderstanding and create certain complications in business. The following sections outline some of ...geological exploration, deposits, solid mineral raw materials, mineral projects, mineral resources and reservesJelena Zakonović, Katarina Urošević, Radmila Gaćina. Availability as a dimension of energy security in the Republic of Serbia
Boban Pavlović, Dejan Ivezić (2016)There is a range of modern approaches and models in literature for the evaluation and determination of energy security, which are based on different parameters and indicators. For most of them, a common characteristic is emphasizing the avail ability of energy, as an important dimension for ensuring energy security. In this paper, concise overview of Serbian energy sectors is given and appropriate energy indicators are defined and determined. Selected indicators provide insight into the main components that characterize availability ...... pp. 838-849 [2] Cherp, A., Jewell, J., The Concept of Energy Security: Beyond the Four As, Energy Policy, 75 (2014), Dec., pp. 415-421 [3] Kruyt, B., et al., Indicators for Energy Security, Energy Policy, 37 (2009), 6, pp. 2166-2181 [4] ***, Statistics, International Energy Agency, https://www.iea.o ...

Transition pathways of household heating in Serbia: Analysis based on an agent-based model
To explore pathways of the energy transition of household heating, an agent-based simulation model was developed for the case of the Serbian household sector. The model is focused on individual entities (households) with the objective to explore the effects of policy instruments on energy transition in households with individual heating systems. Empirically collected survey data were used as input for households’ attitudes towards sustainable heating. Simulations showed that the proposed instruments would lead to higher heating efficiency and less ...energetska tranzicija, modeliranje bazirano na agentima, sistemi grejanja, sektor domaćinstva, obnovljivi izvori energije, emisija CO2Boban Pavlović, Dejan Ivezić, Marija Živković.
