Analysis Of the Process Of Carbon Capture Utilization And Storage In Underground Reservoirs
John Nyame (2024)The importance of mitigating the effects of global climate change has necessitated an in-depth exploration of innovative strategies to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Among these strategies, Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) has emerged as a promising and transformative solution. This master thesis delves into the diverse realm of CCUS processes, aiming to unravel the positives challenges, and opportunities within this dynamic field. The analysis begins with a systematic examination of carbon capture technologies, encompassing post-combustion, pre-combustion, and oxy-fuel combustion ...... chemical looping diagram. Fine metal particles called an “oxygen carrier” are used to transfer oxygen between two reactors, air and fuel reactors. Oxidized oxygen carrier is supplied to the fuel reactor to oxidize (combust) the fuel; thus, oxygen carrier would be reduced to metal (Me) or less oxidized ...
... The oxygen for combustion of the fuel is provided by a regenerable metal oxide catalyst [47]. For pre-combustion CO2 capture, chemical looping can be combined with IGCC to produce syngas as a valuable byproduct. These technologies use a metal oxide as an oxygen carrier to circulate oxygen between ...

Sitni, ali bitni: uloga sitnih sisara, herpetofaune i mekušaca u rekonstrukciji pleistocenskih paleosredina
Fosilni ostaci životinja i biljaka imaju važnu ulogu u rekonstrukciji pleistocenskih paleosredina.
