Projection of SO2 emissions in coal power plants in Serbia
Aleksandar Madžarević, Predrag Jovančić, Stevan Đenadić, Filip Miletić, Miodrag Ristović, Miroslav Crnogorac (2023)The production of electricity in the countries of South-Eastern Europe (SEE) was mainly related to the use of coal, predominantly lignite. The total installed capacity of thermal power plants using coal in these seven countries is 17.813 MW, distributed in 31 thermoblocks. The mentioned plants are the dominant pollutant emitters in all observed countries. Data on the largest emitters in the countries of the European Union and a comparison with SEE countries were collected. The calculation of emissions of ...Aleksandar Madžarević, Predrag Jovančić, Stevan Đenadić, Filip Miletić, Miodrag Ristović, Miroslav Crnogorac. Fluid inclusion study in quartz of the Rudnik Pb-Zn-Cu-Ag skarn deposit, Serbia
Six types of fluid inclusions were identified in three growth zones of hydrothermal quartz from the Rudnik skarn deposit. In the core zone, primary two-phase fluid inclusions of high (type 1) and moderate salinity (type 2) homogenized to liquid between 350-430 °C and 340-420 °C, respectively. Raman analysis revealed that the vapour phases are a CO2-CH4 gas mixture, with a predominance of CO2. The core contains and dispersed vapour-rich fluid inclusions of low salinity (type 3) composed of CO2-CH4-H2S ...Stefan Petrović, Ronald J. Bakker, Vladica Cvetković, Rade Jelenković. Highway construction in fossil landslides zones – Lessons learned from the Grdelica Gorge, Serbia
Landslides are common on roads, which directly affect the flow of traffic and the connection and functioning of the population in surrounding area. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate them in the shortest possible time and to determine and carry out the remediation solution. Functionality of the state roads is immensely important so it is necessary to ensure that the traffic is maintained during remediation activities. Therefore, design solutions and remediation execution technology should be adapted to these requirements. ...Biljana Abolmasov, Marinos Skempas, Svetozar Milenković, Janko Radovanović, Miloš Marjanović. Preliminary Physical-Chemical and Mineralogical Characterization of Furnace Dust Samples, the Basis for the Selection of Samples for Research Within the Project Eit Rawmaterials Dustrec
Environmental Energy Security Indicators as Tools for Environmental Protection
Aleksandar Madžarević, Dejan Ivezić, Marija Živković , Miloš Tansijević. Regional rockfall exposure assessment, experience from Serbia
Rockfalls are common in hilly and mountainous areas, especially along roads with engineered slopes and cuts. Such is the case for most of the state and local road routes in Central, Serbia, which was the subject in this case study. A road network of 276 km covering roughly 1700 km2 between the cities of Kraljevo, Čačak and Ivanjica is presented. Assessing of such wide areas needs to be conducted from large to site-specific scale, i.e., using GIS spatial tools ...Miloš Marjanović, Biljana Abolmasov, Uroš Đurić, Jelka Krušić, Snežana Bogdanović. Simpson's rule application for experimental determining parameters of rock mass oscillation equation at limestone
By its form, the use of explosives has a destructive character. However, energy of chemical explosives is tamed and perfected in many effects, so that is developed a series of activities which work is unthinkable without the use of explosives. In mining industry, explosives are most commonly used for exploitation in hard rock mass. Thereby, large amounts of explosives can be used, especially for mass blasting. The application of large amounts of explosives gives auspicious techno – economic indicators ...working environment, seismic effects of blasting, oscillation velocity, rock mass oscillation equation, Simpson’s ruleSuzana Lutovac, Miloš Gligorić, Jelena Majstorović, Branko Gluščević, Luka Crnogorac.
