Mine ventilation system planning using genetic algorithms
The most common problem in contemporary mining practice related to the planning and analysis of ventilation systems is the optimization of partially regulated air distribution in mine ventilation networks. This paper presents a two step optimization procedure for partly regulated air distribution in mine ventilation networks. The first step is the determination of air distribution in all branches using the well known Hardy-Cross method. In the second step the distribution and parameters of air flow regulators with minimum engaged ...coal, lignite, and peat; ventilation systems; coal mining; underground mining; ventilation; mathematical models; design; air flow; optimization; calculation methodsNikola Lilić, Ranka Stanković, Ivan Obradović. Sitni, ali bitni: uloga sitnih sisara, herpetofaune i mekušaca u rekonstrukciji pleistocenskih paleosredina
Fosilni ostaci životinja i biljaka imaju važnu ulogu u rekonstrukciji pleistocenskih paleosredina. A WordNet Ontology in Improving Searches of Digital Dialect Dictionary
In this paper, we present a method for automatic generation of a digital resource, which connects all indirect synonyms of a dialect term to all indirect synonyms of a corresponding term in the standard language, aiming to improve the search of a digital dialect dictionary. The method uses SWRL rules defined in the Serbian WordNet ontology to identify sets of synonymous words. It also uses e-dictionaries to produce correct lemmas in standard language that users usually employ in searches. ...... using concepts of Google Maps; the etymological origin of the words, morphological information like part of speech, and additional semantic data. Overwiew of In-Pit Crushing & Conveying Technology in Open Pit Mines
The conditions under which contemporary surface mining operations is carried out obviously becoming increasingly complex. In such complex conditions, the optimization of haulage systems as the technological phase with the largest share in the total operating costs, is very important from the aspect of achieving profitability of the mining project. In a large number of cases, the application of traditional haulage systems with trucks (as the most dominant type of haulage in open pit mines) does not lead to ...Ali Nasirinezhad, Dejan Stevanović, Dragan Ignjatović, Petar Marković. Adaptive neuro-fuzzy prediction of operation of the bucket wheel drive based on wear of cutting elements
The capacity of the rotor excavator depends largely on the operation of the subsystem for digging. There is a great contribution to the correct and sharp teeth when the capacity is the highest. In the function of time, the teeth become clogged due to abrasive wear, or changes in their geometric shape. To analyze the bucket wheel drive in depend on wear of the cutting elements in this study adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) approach was implemented. ANFIS ...Filip Miletić, Predrag D. Production of electricity from coal-fired power plants and accompanying CO2 emissions: comparison of EU-27 and US
Even in the third decade of the 21st century, large power plants are still responsible for more than half of the electricity production in Europe and US. They predominantly use fossil fuels in their work, which results in the emission of pollutants into the air, soil and water. In addition to the production of electric energy, fossil fuels, including coal, are used for industrial purposes. Although the use of coal, especially in the countries of the European Union, is ...... 2010/75EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on industrial emissions, 24 November 2010, available at: https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uriıCELEX%3A02010L0075-20110106 [4] Official Journal of the European Union, European Coal Database - Europe Beyond Coal, 2023. Dehydroicetexanes in sediments and crude oils: Possible markers for Cupressoideae
Hans Peter Nytoft, Geir Kildahl-Andersen, Sofie Lindström, Frode Rise, Achim Bechtel, Danica Mitrović, Nataša Đoković, Dragana Životić, Ksenija A. Stojanović (2019)Two previously unidentified dehydroabietane isomers were isolated from Miocene Serbian lignite and Rhaetian (Late Triassic) coaly mudstones from South Sweden and characterized using NMRspectroscopy as cis- and trans-dehydroicetexane. Both have a 9(10?20)-abeo-abietane or icetexane skeleton, consisting of a 6-7-6 tricyclic framework with seven carbons in ring B instead of the usual six in common diterpanes of the abietane-type. Dehydroicetexanes can be detected using GC-MS-MS in m/z 270?146 chromatograms without interference from dehydroabietane or other isomers. Hidrogeohemijska valorizacija esencijalnih mikroelemenata mineralnih voda Srbije
