Modeliranje nam pomaže da predvidimo zagađenja koja dobijamo planiranim aktivnostima u zemljištu, vodi i/ili atmosferi određene regije, kako bi na vreme preduzeli odgovarajuće preventivne mere kojim se smanjuje ili upotpunosti eminiše uticaj na životnu sredinu i zdravlje ljudi.
