Application of the PROMETHEE and VIKOR methods for selecting the most suitable carbon dioxide geological storage option
CO2 storage in geological formations is one of the leading solutions for mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions. Types of geological formations that can be used for CO2 storage, that are discussed in this paper are: depleted oil and gas reservoirs, saline aquifers and injection CO2 in partially depleted oil reservoirs for enhanced oil recovery (EOR–CO2 method). In order to select the most suitable geological storage of CO2, the ranking of these storage options was performed using two methods of ...Lola Tomić, Vesna Karović Maričić, Dušan Danilović, Branko Leković, Miroslav Crnogorac.
Iz tih razloga, u okviru rada posebno su prikazani geotehnički uslovi izgradnje ...... the first section of E-80 highway in Serbia Proceedings of the XVII European Conference of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering ECSMGE-2019, Geotechnical Engineering foundation of the future, Reykjavik, Iceland, 2019. Our study investi gated the interaction between antipsychotic drugs clozapine, ziprasidone, sertindole, and human hemoglobin under simulated physiological conditions. Analysis of protein fluorescence quenching at different temperatures and data obtained from the van’t Hoff diagram and molecular docking indicate that the interactions are static and that the tetrameric human hemoglobin has one binding site for ...Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical and Theoretical Chemistry, Computer Science Applications, Spectroscopy, Molecular Biology, General Medicine, CatalysisLena Platanić Arizanović, Nikola Gligorijević, Ilija Cvijetić, Aleksandar Mijatović, Maja Krstić Ristivojević, Simeon Minić, Aleksandra Nikolić Kokić, Čedo Miljević, Milan Nikolić. Analysis of the correlation between modified secondary and primary compression index on the example of old municipal waste in Serbia
The paper presents the results related to the determination of the index of primary and maximum and minimum indices of secondary compression, i.e. modified primary and secondary compression indices (Cc, Cc', C'min, C'max), obtained by laboratory testing of artificially prepared municipal waste samples (three series of 9 samples in total) in an oedometer apparatus with a diameter of 20 cm. The shear strength evaluation of rough and infilled joints and its indications for stability of rock cutting in schist rock mass
Construction of E75 highway section through Grdelica gorge was one of the most demanding projects realized in recent Serbian history. The alignment approximately 25 km long consists of several tens of bridges, two tunnels, three galleries and cuts with total length of 6 km. The alignment passes through highly anisotropic Palaeozoic schist rock formation of different weathering grades. This study focuses on shear strength properties of discontinuities, which are found to be the critical feature contributing to the occurrence ...Dušan Berisavljević, Zoran Berisavljević, Svetlana Melentijević. Fault type assessment based on vertical gravity gradient anomalies – advantages and limitations
The type of dip-slip faults can be assessed based on the analysis of vertical gravity gradients. Theoretically, just a simple comparation of the gradient extreme values can give us an answer whether the fault is normal or reverse (thrust). Practical application of this method is far more complicated and the results depend on a number of parameters, such as a complexity of geological setting, the quality of gravity data, dip angle and displacement of the fault, density contrast, etc. ...... based on visual and/or numerical analysis of VGG curves and maps. Along the profile, placed perpendicularly to the fault strike, VGG curve has a general shape similar to the curves shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2. For the vertica! fault, curve shows symmetry, absolute values of VGG minimum and maximum ...
... the fault line (dashed lines on the graphs on Fig. 1 and Fig. 2) is sharper and narrower, while the other extreme has more rounded shape. The general orientation of the fault dip can be determined casily — the dip is always orientated from sharper towards the more rounded extreme of the VGG curve ...

Preliminary impact assessment of No2 emission from a heating plant on air pollution: case of Zemun, Serbia
The aim of this paper is to provide a preliminary evaluation of the impact caused by NO2 emissions from a heating plant on the local air quality. To model the spatial distribution of NO2 emissions from the heating plant, the AERMOD model was employed. The evaluation was conducted by analyzing and contrasting the simulated NO2 concentration from the heating plant with the overall NO2 concentration recorded at the nearest monitoring station over the entire heating season. Unusually sluggish microemulsion system with water, toluene and a technical branched alkyl polyethoxylate
Marija Ilić, Franz-Hubert Haegel, Vesna Pavelkić, Snežana Zlatanović, Zoran Marković, Aleksandar Cvjetić (2015)Microemulsion systems with water, toluene and nonionic surfactants are interesting for application due to the excellent solvent properties of aromatic hydrocarbons. In this study, the pseudo-binary phase diagram (“fish-diagram”) of such a ternary system was investigated using a branched technical alkyl polyethoxylate. Lutensol ON 50 (i-C10E5) was considered a suitable surfactant. The system with technical branched i-C10E5 exhibits very long, and for compositions near optimum solubilization, i.e., the minimum content of surfactant needed for a bicontinuous microemulsion, extremely long ... Application of MCDA in the determination of optimal block size for open-pit modelling and mine planning
The process of creating a geological block model as the basis for a further detailed design and planning of mining operations is a very responsible task. Certainly, one of the most important decisions for the modelling process is the choice of the appropriate size of the blocks that form the model itself. Control of substructure construction of railways in the Republic of Serbia
