Manganese-pyromellitate complex as a precursor for preparation of spinel Mn3O4
Lidija Radovanović, Željko Radovanović, Aleksandar Kremenović, Bojana Simović, Milica V. Vasić, Jelena Rogan (2022)In recent years, thermal decomposition studies of transition metal complexes with benzenepolycarboxylate ligands have become an area of a great importance due to the possibility of obtaining useful metal oxides with desirable electrical, magnetic and catalytic properties [1]. As a contrast to conventional methods for the preparation of metal oxides, such as hydrothermal or sol–gel treatment, thermolysis is faster, more efficient ...Lidija Radovanović, Željko Radovanović, Aleksandar Kremenović, Bojana Simović, Milica V. Tehnologija izrade i opremanje magacina eksploziva za potrebe ležišta bakra
Speleo‐morphology and tectonic processes – What can be seen in slowly deforming regions?
Ana Mladenović, Jelena Ćalić (2022)There are a lot of methods used to determine tectonic process active in a region, and they vary depending on the purpose of the research. However, a number of them cannot be used in slowly deforming regions, because the effects of active tectonic process on the rocks in such regions could be negligible. This is especially true for the recently active tectonics in such regions, since most of the recently active tectonic structures never reach the surface. Because of ...Ana Mladenović, Jelena Ćalić. David Mitrinović, Jelena Zarić, Oliver Anđelković, Gyorgy Sipos, Dušan Polomčić, Milan Dimkić (2019)This paper analyses the way in which Pleistocene climate change and glaciations in Dinaric Mountains was reflected in the deposition of alluvial sediments in the Sava river Valley, using a case study of Belgrade Groundwater Source (BGS), the largest and most downstream alluvial water supply source along the Sava river. A stratigraphic analysis of the Quaternary sediments from two boreholes on this site, based on sediment dating, lithological members identification, grain size distribution analysis was performed. To what extent reactivated faults are (not) responsible for karst process: example from Serbian Carpatho-Balkanides?
Ana Mladenović, Jelena Ćalić (2023)Carpatho-Balkanides represent part of the complex Dinaric – Carpatho – Balkan orogenic system, that geomorphologically dominates the central part of the Balkan Peninsula. The existence of this orogenic system is a result of closure of the Neotethys ocean and subsequent convergence of the Adriatic microplate and the Eurasian continent, that has been still active in the recent times. Such geodynamic characteristics conditioned complex tectonic structures, multiply reactivated during Late Cretaceous and Cenozoic times. The main aim of this work ...Ana Mladenović, Jelena Ćalić. Synthesis, magnetic, thermal and structural properties of Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes containing isophthalato ligands
A series of novel ternary Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes containing 2,20-dipyridylamine (dipya), 2,20-bipyridine (bipy), and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen), as aromatic diamine ligands, and dianion of isophthalic acid (ipht) have been prepared by ligand exchange reactions from diluted H2O/EtOH solutions. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, magnetic susceptibility measurements and TG and DSC analysis. Three complexes, Cu(dipya)(ipht)H2O (1), Co(dipya)(ipht)2H2O (2) and Cu(ipht)(phen)2H2O (5) are polymeric with bis-monodentate ipht, while the other two complexes M(bipy)(ipht)4H2O, M@Co(II) (3) and ...комплекси прелазних метала, карбоксилатни лиганди, N-лиганди, кристална структура, магнетна својстваJelena Rogan, Dejan Poleti, Ljiljana Karanović, Zvonko Jagličić. Crystallographic, spectroscopic, thermal and computational studies of polymeric cobalt(II)–mellitate complex with 2,2′-bipyridine
Orange single crystals of new polymeric cobalt(II) complex {[Co(bipy)(H2O)4]2[Co(μ-mell)(H2O)2]·10H2O}n, 1, were synthesized by slow evaporation method at room temperature (bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine, mell = hexaanion of mellitic acid) and its crystal structure was determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The complex 1 was characterized based on elemental analysis, FTIR spectroscopy and thermal (TG/DTA) analysis followed by computational analysis of noncovalent interactions and quantum chemical calculations of interaction energies. Popović-Djordjević (2023)Lakes and reservoirs are the main water resources for household, irrigation, and industrial use. Hence, it is necessary to control water pollution and have reliable information on water quality, which refers to its suitability for a particular purpose. The main objective of this study was to evaluate the suitability of water for drinking and irrigation purposes from ten artificial lakes on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. The physicochemical parameters were determined using standard analytical methods, whereas the ...Goran Marković, Aleksandar Ž. Kostić, Nebojša Đ. Rink, Senka Plavšić, Mirjana Roksandić (2022)Major changes in the technological, economic, and social behavior of Middle Pleistocene hominins occurred at the onset of the Middle Paleolithic, 400e200 ka. However, until recently it was not possible to establish when, where, and how certain forms of Middle Paleolithic behavior appeared and spread into Southeastern Europe, mainly owing to gaps in the Paleolithic record. Determining seismic hazard in slowly deforming region: Can we gather enough information from karst caves?
Ana Mladenović, Jelena Ćalić (2021)Methods to determine seismic hazard in any region vary depending on the regional seismicity, but can be roughly grouped into two main groups: one based on probabilistic methods that use data about known seismicity in the region, and another, which is based on data related to the faulting processes and determination of seismically active faults. Both groups of methods are relatively good for seismically active regions. However, in regions of low seismic activity and slow deformations, there is neither ...Ana Mladenović, Jelena Ćalić.
