Electronic Dictionaries - from File System to lemon Based Lexical Database
In this paper we discuss some well-known morphological descriptions used in various projects and applications (most notably MULTEXT-East and Unitex) and illustrate the encountered problems on Serbian. We have spotted four groups of problems: the lack of a value for an existing category, the lack of a category, the interdependence of values and categories lacking some description, and the lack of a support for some types of categories. At the same time, various descriptions often describe exactly the same ...... (lin- guistics, anatomy, and culinary, respectively). Since the use of lemon is complemented with LexInfo, as an ontology of types, values and properties to be used with the lemon model (partially derived from ISOcat), one of the goals was to map categories used in existing SMD to Lex- Info, as ...Ranka Stanković, Cvetana Krstev, Biljana Lazić, Mihailo Škorić. Asbestos-Based Pottery from Corsica: The First Fiber-Reinforced Ceramic Matrix Composite
Asbestos-containing pottery shards collected in the northeast of Corsica (Cap Corse) and dating from the 19th century, or earlier, have been analyzed by SEM-EDS, XRPD, FTIR and Raman microspectroscopy. Blue (crocidolite) and white (chrysotile) asbestos fiber bundles are observed in cross-sections. Most of the asbestos is partly or totally dehydroxylated, and some transformation to forsterite is observed to occur, indicative of a firing above 800 C. Examination of freshly fractured pieces shows a nonbrittle fracture with fiber pull-out, consistent with ...... Am. Mineral. 2012, 97, 1965–1976. [CrossRef] Trittschack, R.; Groberty, B. Stratigraphic implications of the Mio-Pliocene geodynamics in the area of Mt. Avala: new evidence from Torlak Hill and Beli Potok (Belgrade, Serbia)
Mt. Avala is located on the southern margin of the Pannonian basin (SPB), a border zone between the uplifted morphostructures of the Dinarides and Carpathian-Balkanides. Similar to the Pannonian basin, tectonostratigraphic evolution of the Mt. Avala area during the last 23 Ma has is characterized by syn- and post-rifting processes as well as tectonic inversion. Here, we present the results of field investigations of the Miocene‒Pliocene dynamics that led to different spatial positions of the same stratigraphic units (e.g. ...... measurements of structural elements were not collected systematically (e.g. dip angle and dip direction, fault traces, geometric and kinematic properties, etc.). VENTEX: An Expert System for Mine Ventilation Systems Analysis
U radu je prikazana metodologija ...... three following ways: - through direct input, - by activating a procedure attached to the slot that calculates its value, - by inheriting all properties (and consequently slot values) from a slot at a higher level of hierarchy. Fault type assessment based on vertical gravity gradient anomalies – advantages and limitations
The type of dip-slip faults can be assessed based on the analysis of vertical gravity gradients. Theoretically, just a simple comparation of the gradient extreme values can give us an answer whether the fault is normal or reverse (thrust). Practical application of this method is far more complicated and the results depend on a number of parameters, such as a complexity of geological setting, the quality of gravity data, dip angle and displacement of the fault, density contrast, etc. ...... is a technique for estimating the fault dip using the eigenvector of the observed or calculated gravity gradient tensor and investigating its properties through numerical simulations (Kusumoto, 2017).
