A Tool for Enhanced Search of Multilingual Digital Libraries of E-journals
This paper outlines the main features of Bibliša, a tool that offers various possibilities of enhancing queries submitted to large collections of TMX documents generated from aligned parallel articles residing in multilingual digital libraries of e-journals. The queries initiated by a simple or multiword keyword, in Serbian or English, can be expanded by Bibliša, both semantically and morphologically, using different supporting monolingual and multilingual resources, such as wordnets and electronic dictionaries. The tool operates within a complex system composed ...... highly inflective languages, such as Serbian. Open access Serbian scientific journals are increasingly present on the web. However, they are in general monolingual, but even then full-text search is either not supported or remains very limited (e.g. string search). INFOtheca (http://infoteka ...

Effectiveness Analysis of Different Bucket-wheel Excavators
Coal production in open-pit lignite mines in the Republic of Serbia is performed with continuous work systems. In addition to coal production, the same systems are used for the exploitation of large quantities of overburden. According to the reliability concept, continuous systems are in linear connection. If the failure occurs in one part of the system, that will produce a downtime of the entire system. The initial and most important factor of continuous systems is the bucket-wheel excavator. A Lexical Approach to Acronyms and their Definitions
In this paper we present a comprehensive approach to acronyms for Natural-Language Processing (NLP) of Serbian texts. The proposed procedure includes extraction of acronyms and their definitions that are usual Multi-Word Units (MWUs), shallow parsing of MWUs that enables MWU lemmatization and production of entries in morphological electronic dictionaries, both for MWU and acronyms, that are provided with grammatical, syntactic, semantic and domain information. This approach enables representation that reflects complex relations between acronyms and their definitions.... research was supported by the Serbian Ministry of Education and Science under grants 47003 and 178003. 6. Upper Miocene depositional environments of the Kikinda-Mokrin High (Serbia)
Saša Ivanišević, Dejan Radivojević (2018)Exploration for oil and gas in mature areas, such as the Pannonian Basin, can benefit from reexamination of old data using more advanced modern workflows that focus on the temporal and spatial aspects of sediment deposition. Specifically, we apply a new environment of deposition model that interprets the Upper Miocene- Pliocene sediments as being deposited in a rapidly filling basin characterized by quick shelf edge progradation from the northwest toward the southeast. Interactions of Copper(II) Complexes of some Schiff base ligands with calf thymus DNA and bovine serum albumin
Machine Learning and Deep Neural Network-Based Lemmatization and Morphosyntactic Tagging for Serbian
The training of new tagger models for Serbian is primarily motivated by the enhancement of the existing tagset with the grammatical category of a gender. The harmonization of resources that were manually annotated within different projects over a long period of time was an important task, enabled by the development of tools that support partial automation. The supporting tools take into account different taggers and tagsets. This paper focuses on TreeTagger and spaCy taggers, and the annotation schema alignment ...... finite-state resources. Effect of natural gas composition on methane number: A case of gas reservoirs in Serbia
Natural gas is considered as the most environmentally acceptable fossil fuel, thus it is an alternative to petroleum derivate, dominantly used in internal combustion engines. Physical properties of a fuel as well as behavior during combustion process are affected by its composition.
