Indexing of textual databases based on lexical resources: A case study for Serbian
In this paper we describe an approach to improvement of information retrieval results for large textual databases by pre-indexing documents using bag-of-words and Named Entity Recognition. The approach was applied on a database of geological projects financed by the Republic of Serbia in the last half century. Each document within this database is described by metadata, consisting of several fields such as title, domain, keywords, abstract, geographical location and the like. A bag of words was produced from these ...... lexical resources: A case study for Serbian Ranka Stanković, Cvetana Krstev, Ivan Obradović, Olivera Kitanović Дигитални репозиторијум Рударско-геолошког факултета Универзитета у Београду [ДР РГФ] Indexing of textual databases based on lexical resources: A case study for Serbian | Ranka Stanković ...

Synthesis and characterization of high-pressure and high-temperature sphene (CaTiSiO5)
Jelena Pantić, Vladimir Urbanovich, Vesna Poharc-Logar, Bojan Jokić, Marija Stojmenović, Aleksandar Kremenović, Branko Matović (2014)Sphene (CaTiSiO5), a calcium titanosilicate ceramic has been prepared from a powder mixture of CaCO3, TiO2 and SiO2 using vibro-milling for homogenization and activation of precursors. During the highpressure and high-temperature synthesis (HPS) process at 4 GPa and 1,200 °C, sphene undergoes into phase transition, from room-temperature phase P21/a to high-temperature phase A2/a. Evidence of that structural phase transition is given in this paper using infrared, Raman spectroscopy and X-ray powder diffraction. Ventex: an expert system for mine ventilation systems analysis
roblems relating to mine ventilation systems analysis are usually of a very complex nature. They involve the estimation of numerous interdependent parameters pertaining to the network status, ventilation status, ventilation system stability, air current losses, climate conditions, gas state, fire risk and dangerous dust pollution risk. The solution to these problems relies, to a great extent, on numerical methods. With the development of computer technology these methods were incorporated as numerical routes in software packages, such as the mine ...Nikola Lilić, Ranka Stanković, Ivan Obradović. Agates of the Lece Volcanic Complex (Serbia): Mineralogical and Geochemical Characteristics
Agate veins and nodules occur in the Lece Volcanic Complex (Oligocene-Miocene) situated in the south of Serbia and occupying an area of 700 km2. This volcanic complex is composed predominantly of andesites, with sporadic occurrences of andesite-basalts, dacites and latites, and features agate formations that have been very little investigated. This study focuses on five selected agate occurrences within the Lece Volcanic Complex, employing optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray powder diffraction analysis, inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry ...Zoran Miladinović, Vladimir Simić, Nenad Nikolić, Nataša Jović Orsini, Milena Rosić. Defining location and dip of magnetic anomaly sources applying mathematical transformation
It is significant to define the location and dip of anomaly sources during the geophysical exploration (magnetic, gravity, electric, seismic, etc.). In this paper we presented results obtained during magnetic survey. Applying different method of mathematical transformations on magnetic data we can find the position (edge) and dip of magnetic anomaly sources. For successful solution of this problem, we used combination two method tilt derivative and upward continuation.
