Projection of SO2 emissions in coal power plants in Serbia
Aleksandar Madžarević, Predrag Jovančić, Stevan Đenadić, Filip Miletić, Miodrag Ristović, Miroslav Crnogorac (2023)The production of electricity in the countries of South-Eastern Europe (SEE) was mainly related to the use of coal, predominantly lignite. The total installed capacity of thermal power plants using coal in these seven countries is 17.813 MW, distributed in 31 thermoblocks. The mentioned plants are the dominant pollutant emitters in all observed countries. Data on the largest emitters in the countries of the European Union and a comparison with SEE countries were collected. The calculation of emissions of ...Aleksandar Madžarević, Predrag Jovančić, Stevan Đenadić, Filip Miletić, Miodrag Ristović, Miroslav Crnogorac. Environmental Energy Security Indicators as Tools for Environmental Protection
Aleksandar Madžarević, Dejan Ivezić, Marija Živković , Miloš Tansijević. The optimization of auxiliary machinery in open-cast lignite mines: a case study of bulldozers
One of the most important prerequisites for the successful operation of the open-cast lignite mine is to carry out all the auxiliary works timely with the necessary quality. The most important and most commonly used auxiliary machines are bulldozers. Engaging time of bulldozers use is in direct relation with the coefficients of the time and capacity utilization of the continuous system for the excavation of coal and tailings, which indicates their importance. More than 100 bulldozers have been hired ...Dragan Ignjatović, Predrag Jovančić, Stevan Đenadić, Ivan Janković, Ivica Ristović. Fluid inclusion study in quartz of the Rudnik Pb-Zn-Cu-Ag skarn deposit, Serbia
Six types of fluid inclusions were identified in three growth zones of hydrothermal quartz from the Rudnik skarn deposit. In the core zone, primary two-phase fluid inclusions of high (type 1) and moderate salinity (type 2) homogenized to liquid between 350-430 °C and 340-420 °C, respectively. Raman analysis revealed that the vapour phases are a CO2-CH4 gas mixture, with a predominance of CO2. The core contains and dispersed vapour-rich fluid inclusions of low salinity (type 3) composed of CO2-CH4-H2S ...Stefan Petrović, Ronald J. Bakker, Vladica Cvetković, Rade Jelenković. Possibilities for Reduction of Energy-Related Air Pollution in Serbia - Exploring Energy Scenarios
Fossil fuels and biomass account for almost 93% of the total primary energy supply in Serbia. Meeting the energy needs of consumers implies a transformation of the chemical energy of fuels through combustion processes to obtain heat that can be utilized as such, or further transformed into mechanical or electrical energy. These processes have an undeniable impact on air pollution, even in cases of biofuels or hydrogen combustion. Possibilities for air pollution reduction are identified, both on the supply ...Marija Živković, Boban Pavlović, Dejan Ivezić, Aleksandar Mijatović. Underground loading-haulage equipment selection with application of topsis method with different weighting methods of criteria
The choice of adequate mining machines is one of the most complex problems in the underground exploitation of mineral raw materials. The weight of such a decision is reflected in the high prices of these machines and the occurrence of even greater costs during their use if their choice was wrongly conceived. There are numerous examples from practice in which such decisions were made solely on the basis of comparing the prices of machines, without considering any of the ...utovarno-transportna mehanizacija, izbor, TOPSIS, entropija, standardna devijacija, težina kriterijumaVladimir Krivošić, Luka Crnogorac, Rade Tokalić. Copper minerals flotation in flotation plant of the "rudnik" mine
