Improving Document Retrieval in Large Domain Specific Textual Databases Using Lexical Resources
Large collections of textual documents represent an example of big data that requires the solution of three basic problems: the representation of documents, the representation of information needs and the matching of the two representations. This paper outlines the introduction of document indexing as a possible solution to document representation. Documents within a large textual database developed for geological projects in the Republic of Serbia for many years were indexed using methods developed within digital humanities: bag-of-words and named ...... 55 queries were obtained, as illustrated in Fig. 6 for the query “geothermal energy in spas”. Natural two-dimensional pyrophyllite: Nanoscale lubricant, electrical insulator and easily-machinable material
Borislav Vasić, Radoš Gajić, Ivana Milošević, Žarko Medić, Marina Blagojev, Marko Opačić, Aleksandar Kremenović, Dejan Lazić (2022)Pyrophyllite, with the chemical formula Al2Si4O10(OH)2, is a naturally occurring and abundant van der Waals mineral belonging to the group of phyllosilicates. It is very soft, layered crystal used for sculpting and an excellent electrical and thermal insulator aimed for the operation at high pressure and temperature. Here, for the first time, two-dimensional (2D) pyrophyllite obtained by both mechanical and liquid phase exfoliation is presented and investigated at the nanoscale. The layered structure provides low friction coefficient of around ...Atomic force microscopy, Insulating properties, Nanofriction and wear, Natural two dimensional materials, Phyllosilicates, PyrophylliteBorislav Vasić, Radoš Gajić, Ivana Milošević, Žarko Medić, Marina Blagojev, Marko Opačić, Aleksandar Kremenović, Dejan Lazić. Marija Ilić, Franz-Hubert Haegel, Aleksandar Lolić, Zoran Nedić, Tomislav Tosti, Ivana Sredović Ignjatović, Andreas Linden, Nicolai D. Jablonowski, Heinrich Hartmann (2022)The knowledge ofthe structural and chemical properties of biochars is decisive for their application as technical products. For this reason, methods for the characterization of biochars that are generally applicable and allow quality control are highly desired. Overwiew of In-Pit Crushing & Conveying Technology in Open Pit Mines
The conditions under which contemporary surface mining operations is carried out obviously becoming increasingly complex. In such complex conditions, the optimization of haulage systems as the technological phase with the largest share in the total operating costs, is very important from the aspect of achieving profitability of the mining project. In a large number of cases, the application of traditional haulage systems with trucks (as the most dominant type of haulage in open pit mines) does not lead to ...Ali Nasirinezhad, Dejan Stevanović, Dragan Ignjatović, Petar Marković. Composition of organic matter and thermal maturity of Mesozoic and Cenozoic sedimentary rocks in East Herzegovina (External Dinarides, Bosnia and Herzegovina)
This paper presents the first data on the organic matter and thermal maturity of Mesozoic and Cenozoic sedimentary rocks in the East Herzegovina region of the External Dinarides. Representative, organic-rich samples from outcropping sedimentary rocks of different ages in the area (Triassic to Neogene) were selected and analysed. The organic matter was studied by Rock-Eval pyrolysis and under the microscope in reflected non-polarized light and incident blue light. The results obtained show the presence of different types of organic ...... Frasheri, A., Cela, B., Kodhelaj, N. & odhorjani, S., 2009. Menagment of geothermal energy resources in Albania. Simple 2D gravity–density inversion for the modeling of the basin basement: example from the Banat area, Serbia
We have developed a technique to calculate lateral density distribution of the sedimentary basin basement by combining linear gravity–density inversion and 2D forward modeling. The procedure requires gravity anomaly data, depth-to-basement data and density data for the sediments (density–depth distribution). Gravity efect of density variations in the basement was extracted from the total gravity anomaly by removing the joint efect of the sediments with vertical density variations and homogeneous basement of average density contrast (calculated by 2D modeling).
