Effects of Energy Production and Consumption on Air Pollution in Serbia
Marija Živković (2019)Energy production and combustion, mostly from unregulated or inefficient fuel combustion, are the single most important anthropogenic sources of air pollutant emissions. Energy sector in Serbia is highly fossil fuel intensive: 87.88% of energy consumed in Serbia is related to fossil fuels, while almost 95% of energy sources are combusted. In 2017. energy related carbon dioxide emission in Serbia is was 47.95 million tones. The main source of carbon dioxide emission was coal, responsible for almost 70% of energy ...... 6%. Fossil fuels and biomass make more than 85% of the primary energy need to be transformed to heat and/or electricity through combustion processes 3, which are the main sources of atmospheric pollution 4. Preliminary regional landslide susceptibility assessment using limited data
Igor Peshevski, Milorad Jovanovski, Biljana Abolmasov, Jovan Papic, Uroš Đurić, Miloš Marjanović, Ubydul Haque, Natasha Nedelkovska (2019)In this paper a heuristic approach for preliminary regional landslide susceptibility assessment using limited amount of data is presented. It is called arbitrary polynomial method and takes into account 5 landslide conditioning parameters: lithology, slope inclination, average annual rainfall, land use and maximum expected seismic intensity. According to the method, in the first stage, a gradation is performed for each of the carefully selected conditioning parameters by assigning so called rating points to the grid cells on which the ...... types of landslide mechanisms. In general, a more reliable connection between slope inclination and sliding processes can be found for rock fall and shallow landslides, while for deep seated landslides and especially those in the presence of groundwater, it is a very unpredictable property. Novel Methods in Multiple Criteria Decision-Making Process (MCRAT and RAPS)—Application in the Mining Industry
Multiple criteria decision making (MCDM) is a supporting tool which is widely spread in different areas of science and industry. Many researchers have confirmed that MCDM methods can be useful for selecting the best solution in many different problems. In this paper, two novel methods are presented and applied on existing decision-making processes in the mining industry. The first method is multiple criteria ranking by alternative trace (MCRAT) and the second is ranking alternatives by perimeter similarity (RAPS). These ...Katarina Urošević, Zoran Gligorić, Igor MIljanović, Čedomir Beljić, Miloš Gligorić.
Kvantitativna analiza sa proračunom verovatnoća pojava ovakvih ekstremnih događaja i procenom odgovarajućih ekonomskih posledica, posebno u uslovima globalnih klimatskih promena, omogućava definisanje rizika i optimizaciju parametara sistema površinske eksploatacije.Natalija Pavlović, Tomislav Šubaranović, Dragan Ignjatović. Application of softwares for drilling and blasting
How active is recent tectonics in the central Balkans: Evidence from the Serbian Carpatho-Balkanides
Ana Mladenović (2022)Since the Late Cretaceous, after closure of the Neotethys ocean, tectonic processes in the central Balkan Peninsula were mainly controlled by the mutual interaction of the Adriatic and the Eurasian plates, and tectonic units in-between. Most of the tectonic structures that have been active during Cenozoic times were inherited from previous tectonic stages under different tectonic regimes. Tectonic activity within the Carpatho-Balkan orogen in eastern Serbia since Miocene is conditioned by the existence of the rigid Moesian promontory east ...Ana Mladenović. Determining the Impact of Cutting Elements State on the Bucket–Wheel Excavator Vibration and Energy Consumption
Background There are two types of specifc sizes’ measurements. The frst is the measurement of energy consumption in a working technological process, and the second is the measurement of vibration, which is displayed over amplitudes of speed. There is an interplay between these two processes. Increasing the power consumption, the value of the vibration speed amplitudes increases. Purpose The process of the determination of machining parameters was based on minimizing the power consumption and vibration of the cutting tool, ...Filip Miletić, Predrag Jovančić, Miloš Milovančević, Miloš Tanasijević, Stevan Đenadić.
