Terminology Acquisition and Description Using Lexical Resources and Local Grammars
Acquisition of new terminology from specific domains and its adequate description within terminological dictionaries is a complex task, especially for languages that are morphologically complex such as Serbian. In this paper we present an approach to solving this task semi-automatically on basis of lexical resources and local grammars developed for Serbian. Special attention is given to automatic inflectional class prediction for simple adjectives and nouns and the use of syntactic graphs for extraction of Multi-Word Unit (MWU) candidates for ...... contain as its part a AXAXN term; e.g. sprečavanje zagađenja životne sredine ‘pre- vention of environmental pollution’ may not be considered a term, while zagađenje životne sredine ‘environmental pollution’ is. For that reason, the order of term candidate extraction is: 1. AXAXN, 2XAXN, AXN2X, AXN4X ...

Improving efficiency of thermal power plants through mine coal quality planning and control
Tectonic evolution of the Vršac Mts. (NE Serbia): Inferences from field kinematic and microstructural investigations
The Vršac Mts. in NE Serbia represent the key area to investigate structural relations between the Northern Serbo-Macedonian Subunit and Supragetic Unit of the Dacia Mega-Unit. The geodynamic events during the Variscan orogeny in the Late Paleozoic colligated the two units and led to their metamorphic differentiation. The Late Cretaceous extension exhumed the medium-grade Serbo-Macedonian metamorphic rocks and structurally juxtaposed them against the low-grade metamorphosed basement of the Supragetic Unit along an E-dipping shear zone, which outcrops in the ...severna srpsko-makedonska subjedinica, supragetikum, kinematska analiza, multifazna ekstenzionalna deformacija... Due to common daily operation of these machines and vehicles large amounts of exhaust gases which contain numerous pollutants are emitted into the atmosphere. Indexing of textual databases based on lexical resources: A case study for Serbian
In this paper we describe an approach to improvement of information retrieval results for large textual databases by pre-indexing documents using bag-of-words and Named Entity Recognition. The approach was applied on a database of geological projects financed by the Republic of Serbia in the last half century. Each document within this database is described by metadata, consisting of several fields such as title, domain, keywords, abstract, geographical location and the like. A bag of words was produced from these ...... of geologic data, and provide a modern and effective in- formation basis for carrying out all activities related to planning, design and decision-making in the field of geology. Microemulsion with aromatic oil as cleaner media for electropolymerisation
Abstract Microemulsion polymerization is widely used as a cleaner alternative way to prepare intrinsically conductive polymers. We studied isothermal phase diagrams for microemulsions of the electropolymerizable heterocyclic aromatic oil 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT), aqueous LiClO4 solution and alkyl polyethoxylate. Our specific goal was to assess the effect of LiClO4 salt on the phase behaviour. The phase behaviour was characterized by stepwise titration and microscopic analyses. Here we found that the increase of the concentration of LiClO4 salt shifts the microemulsion region ...M. Ilić, F.-H. Haegel, S. Zlatanovic, N. Potkonjak, B. Simonovic. Influence of DEM resolution on numerical modelling of debris flows in RAMMS - Selanac case study
Debris flows induced by intensive rainfall represent very hazardous phenomena in many parts of the World. Methods for prediction of runout distance of flow like mass movements are different and depending on the input data, rheology, and available or appropriate numerical solution.
