Parallel Stylometric Document Embeddings with Deep Learning Based Language Models in Literary Authorship Attribution
This paper explores the effectiveness of parallel stylometric document embeddings in solving the authorship attribution task by testing a novel approach on literary texts in 7 different languages, totaling in 7051 unique 10,000-token chunks from 700 PoS and lemma annotated documents. We used these documents to produce four document embedding models using Stylo R package (word-based, lemma-based, PoS-trigrams-based, and PoS-mask-based) and one document embedding model using mBERT for each of the seven languages. We created further derivations of these ...Mihailo Škorić, Ranka Stanković, Milica Ikonić Nešić, Joanna Byszuk, Maciej Eder. Against the tide: southeast to northwest shelf-edge progradation in the southeastern margin of Lake Pannon, Banat (Serbia and Romania)
In the late Neogene, the Pannonian Basin in Central Europe was filled with sediments when rivers from the Alps and Carpathians shed their sediment load into Lake Pannon. The most powerful source-to-sink system was that of the paleo-Danube, transporting sediments from the NW as far as the southeastern part of the lake. In the southeastern margin of the basin, however, local sedimentary systems worked in the opposite direction, against the “tide” of the prevailing N to S sediment transport. ...Dejan Radivojević, Miloš Radonjić, Lajos Tamás Katona, Imre Magyar. Multi-elemental analysis of real water samples from the Požega area, Serbia
Heavy metals in lignite and soil of Kostolac-Kovin coal basin, eastern Serbia - comparative analysis with selected cities in Serbia, region, Europe and world
Bogoljub Vučković, Bojan Dimitrijević (2023)The Kostolac-Kovin coal basin with an area of 320 km2, with 5 separate layers of coal and with a total of about 5.7 Bt of geological resources and reserves represents an exceptional potential for coal production in Serbia. The coal resources listed in this way are not fully exploitable, but they represent potential for consideration. In this paper, we deal with the geochemical characteristics of coal seams and perform a comparative analysis of coal affectation on the environment. With ...... the concentrations in our lignite. In the following chapters we will deal with this issue. Key Words: lignite, heavy metals, concentrations 1. GENERAL INFORMATIONS The coal basin is located in castern Serbia, between the Velika Morava and Mlava rivers, which flow into the Danube in that area (figure ...

Improving Document Retrieval in Large Domain Specific Textual Databases Using Lexical Resources
Large collections of textual documents represent an example of big data that requires the solution of three basic problems: the representation of documents, the representation of information needs and the matching of the two representations. This paper outlines the introduction of document indexing as a possible solution to document representation. Documents within a large textual database developed for geological projects in the Republic of Serbia for many years were indexed using methods developed within digital humanities: bag-of-words and named ...... search retrieves only 169 of them, some of which refer to a municipality council, others to salt. A comparative study of the molecular and isotopic composition of biomarkers in immature oil shale (Aleksinac deposit, Serbia) and its liquid pyrolysis products (open and closed systems)
Gordana Gajica, Aleksandra Šajnović, Ksenija Stojanović, Jan Schwarzbauer, Aleksandar Kostić, Branimir Jovančićević (2021)The molecular and isotopic composition of biomarkers in initial bitumen isolated from immature (0.41% Rr) oil shale samples (Aleksinac deposit) and liquid products obtained by pyrolysis in open (OS) and closed (CS) systems are studied. The influence of pyrolysis type and variations of kerogen type on biomarkers composition and their isotopic signatures in liquid products is determined. The applicability of pyrolysis type, numerous biomarkers and carbon isotopic compositions (δ13C) of n-alkanes in liquid pyrolysates is established. Automatic construction of a morphological dictionary of multi-word units
The development of a comprehensive morphological dictionary of multi-word units for Serbian is a very demanding task, due to the complexity of Serbian morphology. Manual production of such a dictionary proved to be extremely time-consuming. In this paper we present a procedure that automatically produces dictionary lemmas for a given list of multi-word units. To accomplish this task the procedure relies on data in e-dictionaries of Serbian simple words, which are already well developed. We also offer an evaluation ...electronic dictionary, Serbian, morphology, inflection, multiwordn units, noun phrases, query expansion... and maintain, conditions for some 6 Authors Suppressed Due to Excessive Length rules were grouped into general and specific conditions, where specific conditions are simply additions to general conditions.
