A proposal for the landslide damage questionnaire in suburban areas
Landslides are one of the most often natural disasters that have an extensive impact on society including loss of life, destruction of infrastructure and properties, damage to land and loss of natural resources. Landslide losses can significantly vary and they depend on a variety of different criteria such as the size and type of landslide, lithological setting of terrain, the terrain slope gradient, the quality of materials used for construction, and the construction typology. Damage from landslides is usually ...Uroš Đurić, Biljana Abolmasov, Miloš S. Marjanović, Sanja Jocković, Miloš D. Marjanović. Hybrid Model for Optimisation of Waste Dump Design and Site Selection in Open Pit Mining
Aleksandar Doderovic, Svetozar-Milan Doderovic, Sasa Stepanovic, Mirjana Bankovic, Dejan Stevanovic (2023)Waste management is an unavoidable technological operation in the process of raw material extraction. The main characteristic of this technological operation is the handling of large quantities of waste material, which can amount to several hundred million cubic metres. At the same time, this operation must comply with all administrative and environmental standards. Therefore, optimising waste rock management (particularly haulage and dumping) has the potential to significantly improve the overall value of the project. This paper presents a hybrid ...Aleksandar Doderovic, Svetozar-Milan Doderovic, Sasa Stepanovic, Mirjana Bankovic, Dejan Stevanovic. The Flow Conditions in the Epikarst Zone of a Karst Aquifer. Case Study: Suva planina Mt., East Serbia
Branislav Petrović (2023)The epikarst as a part of the karst aquifer represents a complex point of contact and mixing of unconsolidated material from the terrain surface, carbonate rocks altered by “corrosive” water, flora and fauna (and remains of), which is partially saturated with groundwater. Significant amounts of (plant accessible) water, and other solutes and particles, can be stored in this zone for extended periods of time. Thus, attenuation or biochemical processes could start in this layer and change quality of infiltrated ...Branislav Petrović. "The Flow Conditions in the Epikarst Zone of a Karst Aquifer. Part of Speech Tagging for Serbian language using Natural Language Toolkit
Application of MCDA in the determination of optimal block size for open-pit modelling and mine planning
The process of creating a geological block model as the basis for a further detailed design and planning of mining operations is a very responsible task. Errors made during this initial process are transferred to all other phases of the mining project. Certainly, one of the most important decisions for the modelling process is the choice of the appropriate size of the blocks that form the model itself. The determination of the optimal block size is not a simple ...dimenzije minibloka, višekriterijumska analiza, AHP, modeliranje ležišta, planiranje na površinskim kopovimaPetar Marković, Dejan Stevanović, Milica Pešić Georgiadis, Mirjana Banković. Filling of dolines with aeolian sediments in the high-mountain karst of the Dinarides (Mt. Durmitor, Montenegro)
Filling of dolines with aeolian sediments, one of the less frequently described ways in which they are filled, is analysed in the present study on an example of a doline in the high-mountain karst of the Dinarides. There is a series of deep dolines on a broad ridge (about 2450 m a.s.l.) on Mt. Durmitor (Montenegro) in the southeastern part of the Dinarides. The accumulation of very fine-grained sand that almost completely fills one of the dolines was analysed. ...Mirela Djurović, Violeta Gajić, Predrag Djurović. Integrated energy planning approach for accelerating energy transition of households
The success of energy transition planning depends on several influential and variable factors that need to be considered and tracked in modeling to support policymakers. Expert-based energy models are mainly developed following the assumptions of experts and, in most cases, a limited number of stakeholders. This top-down modeling approach will provide satisfactory results in centrally managed energy sectors (electricity generation and distribution, district heating, etc.), where further decisions could be projected relatively precisely. However, the same approach will not ...Energetsko planiranje, Integrisano energetsko modeliranje, Energetska tranzicija, Domaćinstva, Individualno grejanje, LEAPBoban Pavlović, Marija Živković, Dejan Ivezić. Microstructural and magnetic properties of electrospun hematite/cuprospinel composites
Phase composition, microstructural and magnetic properties of electrospun hematite/cuprospinel composites were investigated. Samples were synthesized starting with 0 to 10 mol% of copper relative to iron. The round shape of reference electrospun fbres was preserved upon their heating up to 600 °C in air, whereas at 700 °C hollow substructure was additionally formed. In these reference samples the presence of hematite phase was detected by XRPD. Assessing Criteria Weights by the Symmetry Point of Criterion (Novel SPC Method) - Application in the Efficiency Evaluation of the Mineral Deposit Multi-Criteria Partitioning Algorithm
Information about the relative importance of each criterion or the weights of criteria can have a significant influence on the ultimate rank of alternatives. Accordingly, assessing the weights of criteria is a very important task in solving multi-criteria decision-making problems. Three methods are commonly used for assessing the weights of criteria: objective, subjective, and integrated methods. In this study, an objective approach is proposed to assess the weights of criteria, called SPC method (Symmetry Point of Criterion).
