    Biougalj se dobija pirolizom iz organskog otpada. Smatra se ,,modifikatorom'' zemljišta i koristi se kao đubrivo i kao rezervoar za skladištenje ugljenika. Kvantifikacija funkcionalih grupa je važna zbog hemijske reaktivnosti biougljeva koji imaju uticaj na svojstva zemljišta. U istraživanju su korišćena 3 uzorka biouglja različitog porekla i jedan referentni, aktivni ugalj.     The in vitro effect of technical grade malathion was assessed via the kinetic parameters of human plasma butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) using N-methylindoxyl acetate as a substrate for BChE. An inhibitor kinetics study demonstrated the existence of a biphasic inhibition curve, indicating high- and low-affinity binding sites of malathion.   • Characterization of biochar surface functional groups

    In this work, biochar originating from paper fibres was examined. Biochar was prepared via pyrolysis method at 550°C. Oxygen-containing functional groups on biochar surface were determined. The surface functional groups of biochar were analysed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. The amount of oxygen-containing functional groups was performed with Boehm titration. The total acidity of biochar was mostly attributed to carboxylic and lactonic groups.

    The in vitro effect of Al3þ ions in the concentration range 1.7·1026M–8.7·1023M on pepsin activity at pH 2, via kinetic parameters and its electrophoretic mobility was evaluated. Kinetic study demonstrated the existence of an activation effect of Al3þ at pH 2 on pepsin molecule. Kinetic analysis with respect to concentrations of haemoglobin showed that Al3þ ions increase the maximal velocity (Vmax) and kcat values rather than apparent affinity for substrate (KS) implying the non-competitive nature of activation which indicated ...

    Microemulsion systems with water, toluene and nonionic surfactants are interesting for application due to the excellent solvent properties of aromatic hydrocarbons. In this study, the pseudo-binary phase diagram (“fish-diagram”) of such a ternary system was investigated using a branched technical alkyl polyethoxylate. Lutensol ON 50 (i-C10E5) was considered a suitable surfactant.   • Application of Peleg model on mass transfer kinetics during osmotic dehydratation of pear cubes in sucrose solution

    The applicability of Peleg model was investigated for predicting mass transfer kinetics during the osmotic dehydration (OD) process of pears, at different concentrations (40, 60 and 70%, w/w) and temperatures (20, 35 and 50 °C) of sucrose solution. Increase in sucrose solution concentration resulted in higher water loss (WL) and solid gain (SG) values through the osmotic treatment period.     The Vardar-Tethyan mega-suture between the Eurasian and Adria (Gondwana) margins comprises remnants of oceanic lithosphere of Neotethys and distal parts of the adjacent continental margins including unconformable Late Cretaceous sedimentary cover and Cenozoic igneous rocks of post-obduction age.
